Cookies & storage

Test session memory, saved preferences and Cloudflare security storage have different purposes and lifetimes. Updated 27 September 2026.

Storage used by the test

The test code does not set advertising cookies or load an advertising or analytics SDK. It uses browser memory for test observations and local storage for selected preferences. Local storage is not a cookie and is not automatically sent with page requests.

Cloudflare security cookies

The public site has no sign-in and the test code sets no advertising or analytics cookies. Cloudflare can use security cookies when a protection or challenge applies; this is separate from local test preferences. If issued, cf_clearance records a completed security challenge and expires according to the configured challenge lifetime. We do not claim that all Cloudflare traffic is cookie-free. Cloudflare’s cookie documentation describes these mechanisms. Clear this domain’s site data in your browser to remove stored preferences and cookies.

Remove saved preferences

Use your browser’s site-data settings to clear storage for the address you are visiting. Your next visit uses default suggestions again. Clearing the test or recent keys does not remove saved preferences. If the browser blocks storage, testing still works, but preferences may not be remembered. Downloaded reports are files on your device and must be deleted separately.

Advertising choices when ads are introduced

There is no advertising consent to manage on this site. Before advertising storage is introduced, this inventory and the privacy notice will name the actual providers and purposes, and the site will provide the applicable consent and withdrawal controls. A link to this information page does not itself collect consent.
