Privacy & data
How Key & Click handles test inputs, preferences, website delivery and contact messages. Updated 27 September 2026. Advertising and visitor-analytics scripts are not enabled.
Data controller and contact
Key & Click is operated by KÖYLÜ BİL. ELK. GIDA İLT. SAN. VE TİC. LTD. ŞTİ., Türkiye. The company is the data controller for personal data whose processing purposes and means it determines. Its registered office is HALASKARGAZİ MAH. AYLA ALGAN SOK. NO:30/A NİŞANTAŞI, ŞİŞLİ / İSTANBUL. The designated contact for privacy questions is [email protected]. Written enquiries can also be addressed to the company at its postal address.
Your key presses
The test processes key events in this tab. It keeps session counts and displays up to 24 recent key presses in memory. The tool does not upload this history or save it between visits. Use Clear to remove recent history, or Reset test to clear the session. Reloading the page also clears the session.
Mouse and gamepad sessions
After you start a test, mouse observations are limited to its test area. The gamepad test reads the controllers exposed by your browser. Button counts, movement, scrolling, controller names, button values and axis observations stay in session memory; this tool neither uploads them nor saves them between visits. Leaving the tab pauses capture. Reset clears the observations, and reloading clears the session. Downloaded mouse reports contain counts and timing observations; gamepad reports also contain the browser-reported controller name, mapping, observed button states, axis ranges and any center observation. Review a report before sharing it. These two tools do not expose the keyboard tool’s optional browser-assistance interface.
Preferences saved on this device
We use your browser’s local storage to remember language, keyboard layout, size, geometry, operating-system preset, regional preference and Live letters choice. Caps Lock observations, key history and per-key counts are not saved there. Clear this site’s stored data in your browser settings to remove all saved preferences. If storage is unavailable, you can still use the test, but your choices may not be remembered.
Keyboard reports and optional browser assistance
Reports contain the selected settings, observed key positions and counts, and keys excluded from coverage. They do not contain the recent character history or a transcript. A file is created on your device when you choose a download. If you authorize an assistant in a supporting browser, it can request this same read-only test summary. The tool does not automatically send a summary, and this interface cannot press keys or change your test.
Automatic suggestions
Language, regional and OS suggestions use information available in your browser. A supported keyboard-map feature may help suggest a layout. These checks run here; this version uses no IP lookup service or precise-location request. Suggestions can be wrong, and you can change them.
Contact form drafts
On this site, the contact form prepares a draft in your tab. It does not submit messages, save them between visits or attach your keyboard session. Copying transfers the draft to your device clipboard at your request. To send the prepared message, use your own email application and address it to [email protected].
Advertising and third-party providers
No advertising or analytics integration is active. Advertising is planned; the separate advertising notice explains the proposed approach and the choices that must be in place before it starts. This is not consent to future advertising or a statement that Google currently receives your test results.
Cloudflare hosting and security
Cloudflare, Inc. provides static hosting through Cloudflare Pages, content delivery, DNS and network security. Page requests expose technical information such as IP address, requested URL, request time and browser headers to Cloudflare. These requests do not contain your key history or mouse and gamepad test observations. We do not operate an application server or a separate request-log archive. Cloudflare may process information across its global network, including outside Türkiye and the EEA. Its privacy policy describes its processing and international transfers. External links lead to services with their own privacy practices.
Hosting retention and contact messages
On the domain’s Free plan, Cloudflare documents a 24-hour history for Security Events and a 7-day history for Security Analytics. These are product-specific dashboard periods, not a promise that every Cloudflare record is deleted after that time. Cloudflare applies purpose- and legal-obligation-based retention to other data. Email you choose to send to [email protected] is routed through Cloudflare Email Routing to the operator’s Gmail inbox, provided by Google. Your address, message and attachments are used to respond and retained while needed to resolve the request or meet applicable legal obligations. The on-page form only prepares a local draft; it does not send it. Do not send passwords or sensitive information.
Purposes and your rights
Local processing provides the test you request and remembers your preferences. Network and contact processing supports service delivery, security and responding to enquiries; the operator relies on its legitimate interests where applicable and subject to your rights, and on legal obligations where required. Session data clears on reload; preferences remain until removed; downloaded reports stay under your control. Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing and complain to the relevant authority. Contact [email protected] or the company’s postal address above. We cannot retrieve test sessions that were never uploaded.
